Role Responsibilities
As a Journeyman Electrician at WSI Southwest, you will lead by example on-site. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in accordance with NEC standards.
- Reading blueprints, circuit diagrams, and other technical specifications.
- Troubleshooting complex electrical issues and providing efficient solutions.
- Mentoring Electrical Helpers and Apprentices to ensure safety and quality control.
- Communicating effectively with project managers and clients.
Requirements
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (Required).
- Deep understanding of current National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- A “Safety First” mindset.
